Happs Wines Bone Dry Rosé
Colour: Salmon pink
Aroma: The wine has a perfumed aroma of rose petal, cherry and strawberry with hints of musk stick, pear, gunflint and fruit tingles.
Palate: An attractive dry style rose with lots of fruit flavour, texture and vibrant yet soft acidity. The flavours are primarily ripe strawberry, red cherry, raspberry and citrus with a long confectionary finish. The perfect wine for smoked salmon, goat’s cheese and warm days.

About this Australian Vineyard:
The Happs family vinery manifests a strong sense of place combined with creativity. Erl is an avid scientist, Ros a passionate gardener; the entire family a patron of the arts. In this magical location Erl and Ros have brought up their three remarkable children, five dogs, four cats, thousands of artworks and hundreds of wines.

Colour: Deep, earthy red with purple and plum coloured hues.
Aroma: Toasty, spicey, cherry plum, chocolate with a hint of mint.
Palate: Velvety, ripe fleshy cherry fruit flavours with a lingering astringency- from firm supple grape and oak tannins. 

About this Australian Vineyard:
Created by Winemaker Gavin Hogg, on a family Vineyard Gavin and his wife Julie purchased in the heart of Coonawarra. Gavin has won scores of gold medals and more than 20 trophies with his wines, mainly from fruit grown on the famous Coonawarra red dirt.

Colour: Bright strawberry pink with apricot hues.
Aroma: Lifted aromas of raspberry, watermelon and lemon peel with zesty apple blossom.
Palate: A crisp palate, light and refreshing with vibrant red berries and melon. Fabulously approachable with a dry finis.

About this Australian Vineyard:

The Leafy Sea Dragon is the official sea emblem of South Australia and has been become the icon on the bottle of Fleurieu Wines. Peter Simic is founder of Fleurieu Wines and is also the founding and current owner/publisher of Winestate Magazine, Australasia’s oldest and most respected wine buying guide, since1978. Even more significantly, Peter has supervised (and frequently judged) in excess of 250,000 wines over the past 41 years, and continues to this day, looking at 10,000 wines each year in his role at Winestate Magazine.
